And you can learn how to do future tune-ups yourself to keep your PC performing smoothly.

What's included?

An HP PC Tune-up technician will:
  • Remove viruses, spyware and adware
  • Perform hardware diagnostics
  • Remove temporary files, cookies, and other unnecessary files, including unused software
  • Update your operating system software, firmware bios, security, and other software
  • Advise you on your system, configuration, and maintenance
  • Teach you how to do tune-ups

Service limitations

  • Available only to customers using PC products at home, in a home office or small business environment
  • Must be using HP or Compaq PC running Windows 98, Me, XP, XP Pro, XP Media Center, or Vista
  • Service may require more time or agent call-back if customer is using dial-up Internet connection; broadband connection is preferable
  • Assistance limited to PC performance and problem prevention; does not include break/fix troubleshooting, "how-to" support on third-party software or hardware, or repair diagnosis
  • Single-use HP Care Pack service available up to 1 year after Care Pack purchased. Nontransferable; expires if not used within that period.
