The HP PC Set-up and Wireless Network Installation Service will do it for you. Just call us to schedule an appointment, then relax while a technician sets up your computer and wireless network.

What the technician will do

  • Open the box and set up the computer, printer, and monitor
  • Connect your router to your existing ISP and central PC1
  • Connect up to two PCs and a printer server or game console to your wireless network
  • Set up secure encryption with Windows and router-provided firewalls
  • Schedule updates through Windows Security Center and register software
  • Set up Microsoft Outlook to access your preexisting e-mail account
  • Arrange for printer and file sharing (photos, data, and music)
  • Digitally transfer up to 4.7GB of data to a new PC
  • Review your network settings and map them for future reference
  • Provide a 10-minute Q&A session and explain Internet security best practices
  • Run start-up routings and software registration process

What you'll do

  • Call the toll-free number on your PIN card to schedule an appointment (the card is nontransferable and expires one year from the date of purchase, except where prohibited by law)
  • Supply all hardware and software, plus your existing Internet account
  • Have an adult at home during the installation
