Customer ratings and reviews for HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-All-in-One Printer

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great bang for the buck. The quality of this printer is amazing given the price. The printing is crisp, fast, and the colors are true to life. Pictures come out bright and clear. July 20, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by AVERAGE THE MAIN PROBLEM WITH THIS PRINTER IS YOU HAVE TO RETRACK THE SLIDE OUT PORTION OF THE RECEIVING TRAY FOR PRINTED PAPER TO COME OUT ON IN ORDER TO PULL OUT THE TRAY HOLDING PAPER SUPPLY TO SEE IF YOU NEED TO REFILL, THIS CAN BE A PAIN IF YOU PRINT ALOT LIKE I DO. July 19, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Installation Instructions? Horrible I am so frustrated. I just bought this new printer and I can't even find where I am supposed to put the ink jets. The 1 page dumb'd down picture instructions are laughable. I guess I am either so dumb I don't get it, or I am too intelligent to understand the freaking pictures. So, now I want to call for help and no phone number. The owners manual, nothing. The CD boots up and the second step tells you not to continue if you haven't installed your ink cartridges. Really!!!! Maybe this is a great All in One, but I am not sure I will ever find out, because I'm about to throw it back in the box and take it back to the store..... June 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This All-In-One is great & worth the price This "printer" was purchased for the business for card stock printing. We tried the other features, such as photo printing from an I-phone. The photos were very clear and vibrant. We are very satisfied with the many options that this officejet pro performs. June 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Satisfied After Day One Very Satisfied After Day One I bought the HP Officejet Pro 8610 to replace my HP 7680 which died of “old printer age” after 6 years. My thoughts after one day of use: The 8610 is cleanly designed and essentially 100% touch screen controlled. It is lighter than my old 7680, but certain 8610 components (feeder, paper tray) had a welcomed more quality feel. The unit was easy to install in about 25 minutes – wireless set-up very easy, about installed itself. I tested the basic functions (fax, scanning, copying, etc.) and they all performed well – color copying surprisingly well. Print speed was at least as fast as rated and quality was fine for me. The touch screen interface was very logical including little videos. The feeder (big deal for me) worked very well on a 20 page scan test. I do not know about printer cost efficiency just yet, but this will be important over time. I bought this unit with no reviews at all, with hopes that HP designers and engineers read the so-so and negative comments in reviews of earlier models (like the 8600) and addressed the issues. So far, so good! May 26, 2014
