Customer ratings and reviews for HP Pavilion 11t-n000 x360 PC (ENERGY STAR)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wife happy I'm happy My wife's old PC decided to retire with a hard drive failure so I started looking for a replacement. I wanted to keep the price under $500.00 US dollars. I researched way too many laptops however one kept recurring during my search it was the HP Pavilion 11t-n000 x360 PC. As I looked into the reviews I saw an issue with the wireless connection dropping. Before I bought the PC I contacted HP and asked about the issue and if it was being fixed. They told me they knew of the issue and it would be resolved. so I got the PC and could not be more happy with the results. My wife loves the touch screen and real keyboard. The speed is remarkable for the price. And the wireless WAS resolved and have had no issues with connection to our WIFI. I wouldn't consider my wife a power user but uses it every day for many different things (not gaming) and loves the speed of this little treasure. So if your like me and have been researching A laptop/tablet under $500.00 US dollars then I would highly recommend this model. hope this helps just paying it foward May 15, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Good but needs work This is a good computer, its built on the strong side, The HDD is of a decent size and offers 16gb ssd to make the HDD faster. The screen is stronger and has less flex than its competitors. But when you touch the screen in laptop or with the key board down with the screen up, it has a tendency to bounce for a few seconds, Side by side with its competitor the bounce is the same. For what it is it has good speed and should be faster if you install a ssd in it,(as I'm planning.) There only two things that I see that would make this a great computer. #1 The screen, OMG This screen is horrible. There is on good sweet spot on it and thats looking down at the screen, not strait on. Put it in tent mode with the angle the other way around and forget it. It gets really dark and the colors are bad. The screen is worse than my mini that I bought 5 years ago. Everyone else has screens that look great at just about all angles. #2 Batt life, I dont think I need to say more. Its bad. With this computer I was going to install a SSD and use this for work. But with the screen and Batt life I'm probably going to take it back. I've been a loyal customer for the last 12 years. I think HP has a great product here if they fix the screen and batt. Hopefully soon. Other wise I'll being becoming the competitors customer. May 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this laptop Love this system. Bought two of them, one for me and one for my wife. Easy setup, more than adeqate speed for our needs, web surfing, email, video, photos, web design, word and excel. A little heavy as a tablet but not heavy enough to not use. Keyboard is sensitive to the touch and getting used to using a touchpad instead of a mouse button takes time as does getting used to Windows 8. Bought only one DVD drive to share and happy with that also. Overall I would reccomend this system without hesitation. May 6, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good laptop Not quite the tablet as it is claimed to be... but for a small/portable laptop it does a good job. Performance is good, and the feel is not cheap as the competition brands. Weight and mobility is great, and the 500 GB of HD better than any tablet for practically the same price. A great small laptop... not a tablet quite yet. May 6, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good--not great--hybrid for the price PRO: I really like the "flip" form factor over the detachable screen style hybrids. The ability to prop the screen up in different ways is extremely useful for using the laptop from various seating positions. You can also switch between using the physical and onscreen keyboards with very little effort, something you can't do with a detachable screen. CON: The video quality leaves a lot to be desired, but I wasn't expecting better for $400. It's not bad, just adequate. (But don't set it next to a higher-end laptop of tablet, unless you want to be bummed out!) This isn't really a mark against HP, but I was a bit disappointed to find that there's no bottom door to easily upgrade the drive or RAM, as there has been with my previous two Pavilions. On the other hand, HP hasn't changed their policy that it won't violate my warranty if I replace the drive with an SSD, so maybe I'll give it try once someone posts a how-to on disassembling the chassis. Fortunately, the stock drive is perfectly fine, not slow at all. Overall, I think this is an excellent buy for the money. I'm very pleased with it. Just don't expect the same quality you'd get from a pricier Windows hybrid. Hopefully, HP will have success with this model and come out with another flip-style hybrid that can match or exceed the higher-end Yoga models. May 2, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sensible alternative to a large laptop This computer comes loaded with Windows 8.1. Frankly, I do not like the operating system but my wife uses this computer all the time and she likes it as the touchscreen is a lot like her smartphone. She can use this computer as a laptop or as a pad. It is very light and it performs very well for a computer this size. All in all, I would buy the same product again given the chance. A very smart purchase in my humble opinion. April 29, 2014
