This is the one to buy ! I absolutely love this computer. I purchased the 23" which is "just right" for me. Looks great on my desk and NO wires... Well, just the power cable. Could not be any happier with my purchase. Very easy to setup and this computer makes the Windows 8.1 with touch screen worthwhile. I have touchscreen on my work laptop which I rarely use the touchscreen, so when it came time to replace my home computer, I went with the touchscreen, however I use it all the time now ! It is amazing... I would definitely recommend this for home use. The kids love it as well...

I upgraded from a Touch Smart 610 1250xt with standard HDD. Since I don't use much disk space, I ordered it with the Solid State Drive. Performance is very good.
Since I already had a Windows 8.1 installation, all of my setting were transferred to the Envy Recline making the initial setup much easier than in the past. Instead of buying an external drive, I was able to network the optical drive on a laptop that I own to install some older software that I own.
After a week and a half, I am satisfied with my purchase. If you want a touch screen that is ample in size and is comfortable to use, the ENVY Recline 23" models are highly recommended.

HP ENVY Recline 23-k100xt TouchSmart All-in-One Desktop PC (ENERGY STAR) is by far the fastest and easiest computer ever. Simple to set-up and fast loading, which makes using this computer a breeze. All the features work as advertised and the graphics are wonderful as well. Everything about this computer has made my life easier, and school assignments just became easier too!!! Love the apps, the sound and the flexibility of the screen. I can use it as a game board or an art pad.....LOVE IT!!!

To be blunt, I love the computer. I used to be a heavy game user who would build his own computer. I got sick of seeing cords all over the place though so I was looking for an all in one solution that had a decent graphics card and would be fast. Dell, Lenovo and other competitors would always leave out "one" feature that meant the world to me. It was either the graphics card or the network card. When I went to HP, I notice I would have a graphics card, and then upgrade my network card for the newest wifi protocol AC. So happy with this product!
Customer service is good as well.
As a note, there is some major bloatware, but if you know ANYTHING about a computer, you should be able to easily uninstall it. Windows 8.1 is phenomenal. Also if you like building computers, obviously you should not be shopping here....otherwise, definitely a good product. I thought the 27" touch was a bit overkill especially for my desk. Make sure you measure and figure out the best fit for your desk.
Thank you HP! You are wonderful!

My wife and me carefully selected this system and purchased it, because we trusted the advertisement we watched and thought it would be the desktop-PC my wife needs for her daily job (she is a journalist, and needs to get connected to Internet all the time...).
The system proved to be very fast, with a beautiful look, and screen-images and the like.
Unfortunately one of the most important features of all for us, the WiFi network adapter, started to fail unexpectedly since day 2.
We've been struggling with this issue for about three weeks, involving three times the HP Technical Support.
I have to say I always received a very good response from the HP Tech Support Team.
The original system was, in the end, returned and replaced by a new one (the documentation said the motherboard had a failure).
This second system still has the connectivity issues than the first one had.
On this system, at least the WiFi network adapter doesn't disconnects by itself or disables by itself.
But on a random basis, the WiFi loses connectivity to the Internet, and my wife is forced to reboot the system to be able to have it back operational. Almost 2-3 times a day. Every day.
It's really embarrasing that, after to paid cash more than 1,500 dollars, we have to end up using the "system" this way...
I've been searching in Internet for blogs reporting the same issue.... and to my surprise I've found dozens of this same complains... without a successful resolution...
To be clear... this is like to purchase a Ferrari.... having the gasoline tank unusable.
So without gas, you cannot drive it....
This system, without a normal operational Internet connection (in the 21st century) doesn't make sense at all.
We feel really frustrated by this purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by fiddler2 ENVY 23 All-inOne Win 8.1 good PC
Had a lot trouble setting up a PC to printer connection. Finally the connection was accomplished with the help of HP techs.
A External DVD R/W drive purchased with the PC works fine but the drives built in USB cable is too short. I will have to by and extension cable for the drive to easily use it with the PC.
I also purchase a USB 3.0 Hub to connect all my external devices to the PC.
Other than that the PC works fine.
