Rated 3 out of 5 by Too early to tell I have had the PC for about 4 weeks and have not had any problems. Therefore, I fortunately have not had any need to use the warranty. I was very reluctant to purchase it because basically these kind of warranties are real money makers for the suppliers without offering much to the customers because most products never utilize the warranty. If I am lucky I just wasted my money and will not have to use it. I purchased it only because I have had no prior experience with a laptop computer. September 15, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Problems with online registration The online registration refused to accept the serial number for the laptop despite that number being shown in the HP Support Assistant and confirmed with the same serial number in the battery compartment. I've sent the registration via mail and "hope" HP will accept the registration information. February 17, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by It's a great product.. It just doesn't work. I ordered this extra 2 year warranty along with my HP Pavilion dv7t-7000 notebook computer. I cannot use this 2-year warranty with my notebook, every time I try to register it, it won't go through. It really annoys me that it tells me my warranty is not compatible with my pavilion. So far haven't needed to use the extended warranty yet which is a good thing. It is good to have peace of mind that HP will be there if I ever do need their help. August 31, 2012
