Overview

  • Room to play and then some. Stunning visuals, Full HD[1] resolution and IPS widescreen technology in a bold new micro-thin edge-to-edge panel design. Share photos, videos, and games with everyone in the room and experience the same great views from almost any angle on the all new HP Pavilion 23xi 23-inch IPS LED Backlit Monitor. Incredible performance, vivid colors and smart HP My Display software sweeten the deal.

Amazing angles with IPS

  • In-plane Switching (IPS), the color-rich technology you know and love in tablets, mobile devices, and televisions, is now available in a micro-thin, 23-inch diagonal HD[1] display designed for the home.
  • Share videos, photos, games, and more with striking 178° horizontal and 178° vertical viewing angles – so you can accurately view images and colors from almost any direction. Less distortion. Less blurring. Happy spectators.
  • The difference is in the screen. IPS technology delivers higher color fidelity than conventional TN (Twisted Nematic) panels. That means image and color consistency from almost any angle.

Beauty and brains

  • Modernize your home desktop with a contemporary, edge-to-edge panel design that delivers maximum views of all your favorite images and on-screen content.
  • Save space in style, too. The unique, micro-thin profile fits virtually anywhere without taking up valuable space.
  • For big projects and multitasking, do more with a dual-monitor setup that’s easy to implement with a smart, plug-and-play design. Stay connected to current and evolving devices with easy access to built-in VGA, digital DVI and HDMI inputs.

Jaw-dropping details

  • Bring your media to life with HP Enhance+, which enhances your onscreen imagery with crisper, cleaner images for your games, videos, and pictures.[2]

Customer ratings and reviews for HP Pavilion 23xi 23-inch Diagonal IPS LED Backlit Monitor

Rated 5 out of 5 by HP Pavillon 23x23 LED Monitor this monitor is great the colors are like you are there I love it. April 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by SUPER DISPLAY I LOVE IT! BEAUTIFUL RESOLUTION AND COLORS. April 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by What a difference! The brighntess, clarity, and viewing angle of this monitor are awesome! The size makes it much easier to work at home since I can view several several things side by size simultaneously on the large screen. April 25, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Monitor but no speakers I knew this monitor had no speakers before purchasing but it is important to know you need external ones. It has an external DC brick, not 120v ac direct cord. Image is good, color is good, price was good. If I were a big shopper I am certain that there are better values in the market, but I am not disappointed. April 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Superb I got myself one of these to add some screen space to my awful 12.5 inch tablet laptop that was 'issued' to me (despite the fact that I still had to pay 2 grand for it, but that's another story) at the Colorado School for Wayward Boys and Girls. Got this one through HP directly. It took me about 15 minutes to set up completely, at least half of which was dealing with my cord situation, which is my problem and not yours...hopefully. The picture quality is fantastic, and once you spend a couple minutes playing around with the picture settings you should be more than satisfied with the screen itself. It has (1 each) VGA, DVI, and HDMI inputs. I am currently getting the full 1080p on VGA, which is theoretically the lowest quality input (I'm saving the HDMI for my PS3). Some words of advice, though. This monitor, like 95% of monitors, doesn't have any speakers, yet this fact still surprises some people. It doesn't have any audio interface whatsoever (so don't expect to plug an HDMI cable into it and extract the audio from an output in the monitor itself; you'll need to do audio separately, depending on your particular audio situation). Really, though, the lack of speakers isn't that much of a loss, considering that the few monitors that do have audio tend to be overpriced and have lower quality speakers anyway. I'll consider retracting the previous statement once they start making monitors with 5.1 channel audio to include subwoofers. April 23, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Color is off I decided to purchase a second monitor, so I purchased an additional HP. I am happy with the color and contrast of the old HP monitor, but I cannot get the new monitor to come close to matching the color, contrast and brightness. It's more than a little annoying to have two monitors with such a different picture. The monitor wouldn't be bad as a stand alone, but the difference is stark side by side with my old HP monitor.
