Customer ratings and reviews for HP X7500 Bluetooth Wireless Mouse

Rated 5 out of 5 by great price, easy to pair with computer Great Bluetooth mouse and easy to pair with my computer without usb dongle. July 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great bluetooth mouse Overall this has been a great mouse. The first thing after the easy install you want to do is disable your computer from disconnecting Bluetooth to save the battery.... if you're on a laptop. It's been very easy to use, just searched bluetooth devices and it paired quickly. More feature than a standard mouse, and I got it on sale which helps. July 21, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Versatile but with a main issue This mouse is almost of the same design as the mx1100 mouse except the lack of the thumb button. It offers some good features: 1. 8 buttons which you can manually assign specific functions to. 2. The scroll wheel can be switched to free-scroll, which is a big plus I think. 3. Computer can recognize the mouse in around 1 sec. However, the biggest disappointment to me is that the cursor precision and movement is not as good as mx1100. July 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by very nice mouse This is my first Bluetooth mouse and I love it. It looks great, it is comfortable to use, and it is very responsive. July 20, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by My only issue with this was....... My only issue with this was it seemed to go through the batteries it came with in like 2 days! So I am not sure if the batteries in the box were new or someone decided to help themselves and swap them out for ones that were almost dead. :o( Otherwise I loved it! June 13, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by A Mouse of Necessity I gambled to order this mouse. In search of portability, I bought a 7" tablet. To some extent, it's a desktop replacement for my five-year-old laptop. I still have the latter, but have found the tablet surprisingly useful, especially after discovering that I could plug my beloved 13 year old trackball and six year old keyboard into it. However, neither of the above are particularly portable. I ruled out using "dongle" devices after discovering that my tablet pretended they weren't there. That left me with Bluetooth, which requires no dongle. As it happened I already had a nice little Bluetooth keyboard, but quickly discovered that none of the few Bluetooth trackballs had good reviews. That's how I came to order the X7500. The illustration shows an ergonomically curved device with four buttons and a scroll wheel. And that's what I got, I had to retrain myself to use a mouse, which is most comfortable if you move your arm from the shoulder, as opposed to a trackball, which only requires me to move one finger and thumb. Nevertheless, I like what I got, and it turns out to be more comfortable than any of the other mice I've used over the years. With all of those buttons, it was obviously designed for Windows. In Android, left click, forward thumb button and scroll wheel have uses. Right clicks get seen as left clicks and the back thumb button doesn't work in any of the apps I've tried so far. Accelerated movement also seems to work. Yes, it's bigger than any "portable" Bluetooth mouse I've seen, but not by that much, and the ergonomic design keeps my hand happy. I recomend this device.
