Customer ratings and reviews for HP 12C Financial Programmable Calculator

Rated 5 out of 5 by My 12C Now retired from Mortgage and Real Estate, I still use my 12C. that I bought in 1981 for $150, plus a 2nd one from a few years latter. I used the previous HP #ed financial calculator prior to that. I would give all three a 10 if I could. Larryd July 4, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by 23 years and going strong! I purchased my HP Financial Calculator in college. It was a requirement for my core Accounting courses. That was 23 years ago! It still works great! I used it through my college studies, in my accounting career, and now it sits beside our home computer. We use it every day. It's great for loan comparisons, such as when buying a car or house! Takes all the guess work out! We love it! Thanks HP! June 28, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by A long time ago! Surprised to see the 12C still pumping along. I bought mine about 1976. YES 1976. I still use it everyday, and went one time over three years on a set of batterys. You will never regret buying this HP product. June 27, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by I bow my head in respect........ Today was the last day of calculation for my HP12C. It gave me 25 years of faithful service. April 22, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding Absolutely the best product I have ever bought. Purchased in 1984, I've used my 12C non-stop since then. The features are awesome, the flexibility amazing, the programmability is wonderful, and the durability is beyond description. It has very low battery usage, thus very long battery life. Within my lifetime (I'm 51), I've never had a product which has even come close to the 12C in terms of exceeding every expectation I had. I cannot recommend it strongly enough. Even the original slip case is still intact, after spending (literally) years in my shirt pocket. It has withstood drops, freezing overnights in cars, coffee spills, and my children. The keys don't click as crisply as they used to, but I find that makes it even easier to use - now my hands just glide across the keypad. What a great device! March 29, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product for all reasons I have using the 12C for 24 years and it has never failed to perform and expand it's utility value. But I do miss the scientific version with the same design, I believe it was the 15C, I wish it come back so I can replace the model I lost. January 13, 2009
